It all started for about 8 years ago when I started taking photos, just like everybody
else to remember the event of the day...and I was using a throw away camera, then I
decided to buy a little camera and continued taking photos, until I discovered that I
had started a new hobby. A hobby that had turned into a serious undertaking. I
began to take a interest in my cameras and invested in a more professional (film)
camera "Canon" which was another step into my love of photography. I studied and
communicated with other professional photographers, and learned from them and
their techniques on how to achieve what I was looking for. I thought that I was on
my way, but... little did I know I still had a long way to go and grow. Then the
digital "camera" age came about and I figure I had to go with the flow and bought
my 1st digital camera....unfortnatley the digital camera was not the ideal camera for
what I had in mind.....so back to the my regular Canon camera.....Then my hobby
turned into another under taking....I started a website...I knew nothing about setting
up a site...I am definitively self taught, but I needed a place to display my photos and
off to the races I went. I must have had the worst website on the web, It look like a
amateur...but over time and countless tries I finally found and reach what I was
looking for and it stuck...I started getting a following for my photos and website
ladydibluescorner.com, so I decided to purchase the latest Canon digital camera and
again I was off to the races....I finally had something to work with and I was really
enjoying myself. To this day I am still taking photos and have a photo collection that
exceeds well over 35,000 (no lie) and I am still doing what I love to do....
Now I am venturing into a new hobby....videos, that's no surprise, everything these
days is all about being live....on the scene...something that not only you can see but
hear....like being there. So again I purchased a mini dvd cam-corder but it had it's
problems...they only last 30 minutes long, and I found myself buying all kinds of
mini dvds...not worth the cost...so again I purchased a new hard drive (no disk, no
film) cam-corder...that downloads to your computer. What a differences, I really
enjoy using this camera.... So now I am around town with my camera and video
equipment doing what I love to do....collecting memories and archiving some of the
best blues/rb music that St. Louis has to offer.
